We all need some Inspiration, sometimes....

The realtor came yesterday. I have to admit, I made the right choice. She and I went through my house from top to bottom. When we got to the price, we came up with exactly the same figure. Everything seems to be falling in line. Now, all I have to do is clean and scrub. Oh what fun! I was looking for some inspiration today, so I went to YouTube and entered " living in my RV". Out of all the results, the following video gave me the inspiration I need.

I was sorry to learn that Elizabeth Taylor died last night. She was 79 years old. It really does seem like the old guard is fading away, doesn't it? She was around as long back as I can remember.

I was also dismayed to read that Pinetop Perkins passed away. Pinetop lived in Austin and really was a blues legend. He was 97 years old and held the distinction as the oldest Grammy winner. BB King said he was the last of the great Mississippi Bluesmen. He's been a regular fixture at the Austin blues clubs playing regular gigs up to last month. He was believed to be the last of the old-time Delta blues musicians still performing. He said that playing the blues is what kept him alive. Mr. Perkins also loves fast food and was a smoker until the day he died. " Two cheeseburgers, apple pie, a cigarette, and a pretty girl is all I want" said Perkins an interview last year. It's hard to argue with that kind of longevity.

Now it's time for me to get busy. Anything worth having, is worth working for. . After all, this is my dream. Thanks for stopping by . As always, TTYL.

  1. Why don't you hire someone to do the major srubbing and you'll be able to focus on other things. When is the house going to be listed ?

  2. Good idea. I have 2 weeks to get this place empty and clean. The realtor has confidence in a quick sale. (of course).

  3. I hired my local Merry Maids to come in and do top to bottom end to end cleaning. They will clean places you never thought about!! Check them locally for an estimate.. Just let them in and git outta the way~!!!
