Best Plans Of Man…(and mice)….

I've read about it on the Internet, other bloggers who have problems with BlogSpot. I've been trying to fix it the last couple of days, and to my horror, I have somehow inherited many of the problems I read about in blogger help. And so, my dear and faithful readers, I am reverting back to the simplest blog template available. Yes I know, it looks different doesn't it? I'm not happy about any of this, but in time, I think I can work it out. I have the whole holiday weekend to fool around with this mess. For some reason, I've lost Internet service at my house again., I have to go find me a Wi-Fi hotspot somewhere so I can post this. I'm thankful I've got Live Writer. I don't really know what God thinks of the Internet, but I asking for a little help. You think He knows HTML? If you pray, offer one up for me, please. If you don't, send me good vibes and/or wish me luck.

I do thank you for stopping by, like I've said before, it means a lot to me. Really!

Michael

  1. The content is what matters to me, not the package.

  2. Well said, Barney. It's not the package that I'm concerned about. My list of followers is no longer visible and when I publish a new post, it doesn't show up on others blog-rolls. I just want my blog to work like everyone else's does. Evidently this is a common problem, according to blogger help. I hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend, my friend, and catch lots of fish.

  3. I agree, it's all about content! I'm a little partial to blogs that aren't runnng all kinds of fancy gadgets and widgets. The DSL is so slow here, it's painful! Not quite as bad as not having any at all, though! I feel your pain!

I hoping, in time, blogger will figure it out. I'm not holding my breath, though.

  4. Something must be fixed because I am able to slowly scroll now, where as before it jumped up and down and I could hardly read anything. I wanted to add a comment I believe yesterday and there wasn't any comment section. so I am happy to be able to read your blog and comment today.:)

  5. I wonder if we'll ever know why Blogger acts the way it does sometimes? Wonder if their servers where all this is stored are getting full or maybe they having problems with them?

Personally my experience with live writer was not good at all, and I dumped it totally.
Guess i'M just used to Google Blogger , so I'll stay with it.

  6. I feel everyone's pain. I guess we are at the mercy of the blogger gods.
Ben~Live writer posts to Blogger. It is a help when you want to write and don't have service. You can post it to blogger when you do. I tried to comment to Dizzy this morning and couldn't. I also noticed his followers are missing, too.

  7. I guess the blogger gods answered. My follower list is back. Strange.

  8. That was short lived. Followers is not working, again. So, in the immortal words of Gilda Radner, "Never Mind." What browser do all of y'all use? I'm loved ie8, but today I experimented with Mozilla and Google chrome. I like Mozilla because it gives me spell check as I type this comment. Thanks everyone for commenting, I gets lonely out here in Space.

  9. I'm inclined to agree with Barney and anonymous. I find some busy backgrounds distracting. I think your blog looks great just as it is.

  10. Jack, all I would have to do is toss you some dog jerky, and you would agree with anything. I know your type.

  11. No, not really. If you read my blog, you'd know who Jack really is. ;-)
