lakefronthouse4sale(dot)com.
I plan on building the website with information about my house. Since I live on the lake-front, I have a target market of people that enjoy the lake for recreation, and the ones that drive down my road. I'm going to have two banners made that say.. for sale, have the web address, and a phone number. The other part of my plan is to list in the local newspaper and on Craigslist. We also have a local real estate magazine called FSBO Magazine.(for sale by owner). I figure if I build a complete website, I can just advertise the site address and get the word out. It's pretty painless getting a domain from Go Daddy. It's cheap, too. I paid $14 for a year. When I got that done, I drink lots of coffee, and the sun still wasn't up. When old Sol finally did rise, I thought the light was perfect, so I went across the lake and took about 40 pictures. Here's the main one that's going to be on my new website.....
Today was the day to take my dear sweet Mary to Wal-Mart. You know, I'm getting to where I kind of like Wal-Mart. I found this video the other night when I was looking for an RV review. I think it's hilarious. Let me know what you think.
As some of you may have noticed, I got blogger straightened out. I wanted to blame them for it, but it was my own error that caused the problems. It has to do with some of the information that I entered on a tab in site feed. Tonight, I have to take my desktop computer to my local guru. It crashed on Saturday. I've said it before, I love these computers and the Internet, but they absolutely wear me out, sometimes.
Maybe it's just me, but things seem to be going better. I know it all has to do with attitude, so I'm going to try to keep a good attitude. I appreciate y'all stopping by. Come back anytime.
Michael
I know it is none of my business, but I can't help wondering why you want to sell such a nice house in such a nice location. You don't seem old enough to be wanting to down-size.
ReplyDeleteI love getting up at 4am, in the summer months. $am to 7am are the best hours of the day.
ReplyDeleteThe video was pretty well done, the website "people of walmart" is a little too judgemental for my tastes, the comments are dwon right ignoarant.
You'd need dynamite to blast me out of lakefront property!

Good luck on the house promotion Michael, just another step on the way to enjoying the good life.
ReplyDeleteDiz~age is just a number, and mine started in 1950.
ReplyDeleteCyndi~I thought the video was very clever. I will tell you of this little village, later.(after the sale)
John~I see you get it, my friend.
Here's hoping you meet up with someone else wanting to go the other direction! Who needs waterfront fetters, anyway?

Michael, Great picture of the house. As a matter of fact great house. But I get what you want to do. Good luck on the sale and a purchase for your new life style.
ReplyDeleteThe video was very, very funny. I saw something like it before but this had so much more to it. Thanks for the laughs.
I am just the opposite of DD. I can't see why folks want to own dirt that doesn't provide income. I have been house/dirt free for fifteen wonderful years now. The road is waiting for you.
ReplyDeleteRoxanne~I knew you would get it.
ReplyDeleteJoJo~ I knew you would get it, too.
Barney~Thank you Barney. I'll be there before you know it.
Thanks to all of you. My web family has become just that, Family.
The picture of the house looks great. Would like to see it from the inside now too. Walmart video was awesome.
ReplyDeleteSara~Thank you. We have our work cut out for us, right?
