What's That Ticking Sound?

Shhh.. can you hear it? Listen.. tick, tick, tick, tick, tick!! That's my timebomb ticking. I put ads in the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal, the Thrifty-Nickel, and a listing on Lubbock's Craigslist. All the ads will come out at once, tomorrow. I haven't decided yet, but I might put it on my Facebook page. This morning, I put my for sale banners up. Today I have been scrubbing and mopping and vacuuming and dusting, and I'm just about ticked out. I've had enough time to thoroughly think this situation out, and I hope the first person buys it. This is a major, life-changing decision that I am involved in. Ch-Ch-Changes are sometimes hard for me. I am pretty level-headed and don't rush into many things. I have listened to this song quite a bit lately....

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I'm not all that worried about my house selling. I'm sure that it will. How do I know that? Because I have faith and faith can move mountains. (It certainly shouldn't have any trouble with a simple house sale) I can't really explain it, but I have a knowing in my heart that this house sale is going to work out okay. In fact, it's going to be better than okay, it's going to blow my mind how good it will work out! That's my proclamation for the day. (my Daddy said it would work out fine)

Well, I got to get back to my maid duties. Thank you so much, I appreciate you taking the time to have a little read about my part of the world.

  1. Hi Michael, thanks for lookin at my blog. Not to mention sendin some of your friends over. When I was sellin my house I had a cleanin party with friends and family. I bribed em into helpin out with food and beer. It was actually kinda fun, at least for me since I was mostly supervising.

  2. Hope your house sells real quick. If it does, do you now have an RV waiting for you and the road? I am thinking about upsizing my RV. But I still want to keep my place. Somewhere to come home to.

  5. I know that house has to sell quick its way to beautiful not to. I asked you once if you had a 5er already but can recall if you answered. I you do I would move into it so you won't have to keep cleaning up behind you and the fur babies. :) I know you will keep the faith on this.

  6. I agree with the idea of a cleaning party with some friends. Sounds like it'd work to me, besides which all the people in attendance would spread the word about your sale. Word of mouth advertising works wonders!!

Best of luck with the sale..
